Do I need a teacher?
No, you don’t need a teacher. All content is designed so that you can work through it independently as a self-learner without a teacher. In the future, we also want to give you the opportunity to speak to an AI teacher who will then answer your questions. As soon as the time comes, we will let you know. We hope to be able to implement this by summer 2024 at the latest. Until then, Fred and Claudia will teach you German

The Content
EasyDeutsch Pro is not just a sorted and well thought-out collection of materials. In addition to a complete course, you also get vocabulary lists with illustrations, usage explanations, stories and dialogues with audios for listening and reading comprehension, as well as access to dozens of grammar explanations and exercises.
You get lessons that build on each other from A1 to B2. You can learn German with the help of the Fred from America series – with real situations from real people’s everyday lives. All the stories build on each other, so that you are motivated and want to know what happens next with Fred and Claudia.
*The B2 part will be published from September 2024. A1 to B1 are already complete.

Without vocabulary you don’t need grammar or anything else. Vocabulary is the cornerstone of every language.
As an EasyDeutschPro member, you get access to illustrated vocabulary lists with the 1000 most important words you need to speak German. You also get access to translations of all vocabulary and example sentences in the 10 most important languages. So that it’s easy for you and you can quickly internalize the meanings of the new words!
We’ll also be adding audio for all the vocabulary words by the end of March so you know how to pronounce them.
In addition to the lists with “standard vocabulary”, there is also a constantly growing collection of vocabulary lists with slang and colloquial language.
We just want to give you material that also teaches German that you can really hear in everyday life. Therefore, these lists contain all the expressions that you probably won’t find in textbooks, but that you will most likely hear every day in everyday life. They are essential for finding your way around in everyday life in Germany, Austria and Switzerland!
EasyDeutsch started as a pure grammar site. The mission has always been to show everyone that German is not a difficult language, it is just taught too complicated!
